GTA 6 Original Soundtrack Revealed: 34 Brand-New Tracks, Six Streaming Today

Rockstar Games has officially revealed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature a 34-track original soundtrack, with the first six tracks available to stream as of today. According to Eurogamer and The Verge, the majority of the album remains under wraps, with most track titles still listed only by number. The partial reveal marks the first major look at the bespoke music that will accompany GTA 6’s anticipated launch.

The album, simply titled "Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album," will be released on November 19th, the same day as the game itself. Rockstar confirmed that fans can purchase the soundtrack on both vinyl and CD, with the digital edition available across major streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal, and Amazon Music. Pre-orders are open now, with the CD priced at $20 (£11) and the standard vinyl at $50 (£45). A limited edition vinyl featuring custom artwork was also offered at $125 (£109), but as Eurogamer reports, it has already sold out on the UK site. Kotaku adds that two of the vinyl records will be exclusive to the game’s official site, while retailers like Best Buy are also getting their own original variants.

While the full list of contributing artists remains a closely guarded secret, Rockstar’s announcement follows a series of social media teasers from musicians who hinted at their involvement using GTA 6-stylised posters. The current six-song preview can be streamed immediately via the album’s official portal, allowing fans an early taste of the new musical direction. TheSixthAxis notes that this is the first time a GTA soundtrack has been released in tandem with the game, and the move underscores Rockstar’s focus on curated, original music for its latest open-world epic. According to Kotaku, some of these tracks are written to reflect the action, violence, and debauchery GTA is known for, while others seem specifically catered toward the game's romance between leads Jason and Lucia.

Physical collectors can look forward to both the standard and limited-edition vinyls, though the high-end version is proving difficult to secure. Meanwhile, the digital album is available for pre-save, which will notify users the moment the complete 34-track collection drops in November.

This soundtrack strategy distinguishes GTA 6 from previous entries, which leaned heavily on in-game radio stations and licensed tracks. Rockstar’s push for a major original album, released alongside the game, signals a stronger emphasis on custom music as part of the narrative and atmosphere. The specifics of how these tracks will integrate with gameplay are not yet detailed, but the early release of select songs suggests Rockstar wants the album to be a standalone event as well as a companion to the main game.

GTA 6 launches on November 19th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the album available in all announced formats from the same date.
