Turkish GTA 6 Fans Professionally Dub Gameplay Reveal for Support

Turkish GTA 6 fans have professionally dubbed the game's extended gameplay reveal to demand official language support from Rockstar Games. IGN reported that a cast of voice actors recorded and mixed a full Turkish audio track for the entire extended look, releasing the finished video just twenty-four hours after Rockstar published the original footage.

The dubbed release forms part of a broader push by Turkish players requesting localized subtitles or voice overs ahead of the game's scheduled release in November. According to IGN, Turkish player campaigns have previously succeeded with other major releases. Direct appeals from players led developer IO Interactive to add Turkish subtitles to 007 First Light, giving local players precedent for targeting Rockstar's upcoming release.

Local Creators Call on Rockstar to Partner with Localizers

YouTuber Pintipanda released a video appeal urging Rockstar to recognize the economic potential of localizing Grand Theft Auto VI. As reported by IGN, Pintipanda pointed out that Turkish speakers live across multiple countries, making Turkish language support a practical way to expand accessibility for a title expected to achieve massive global reach.

Pintipanda highlighted several text-heavy releases that successfully offered Turkish localization, including The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate, and various entries in the Warhammer franchise. "The studios behind these games like CD Projekt Red or Techland, all the studios are getting their investment back with the sales," Pintipanda stated, according to IGN. "That's a win-win, that's an alternative way to do these kinds of things. The choice is yours."

Addressing potential development constraints, Pintipanda suggested that Rockstar could contract established third-party localization teams in Turkey rather than building an internal team from scratch. "I know that you guys do these things internally, but if creating a team from zero is hard or you don't have the time or the luxury, you have the money, of course," Pintipanda said in the video, as reported by IGN. "There is an alternative way to do this. We have world-class Turkish localization teams here."

Pintipanda acknowledged that full localization for a project of this size cannot happen overnight. However, IGN reported that the primary goal of the campaign is to secure official recognition from Rockstar as an initial starting point.

The campaign comes during an active marketing period for Grand Theft Auto VI. IGN noted that the Turkish fan dub follows last week's gameplay reveal, subsequent press previews, and the announcement of two limited-edition PS5 controllers produced by Sony and Rockstar.
